Occupation ; Gunsmith.
Sentenced to a 5 year term for a petty crime (debatable).
Served 3 years in England on a prison hulk (derelict ship no longer in commission other than as a prison ) before being transported to Australia in 1822, where he was assigned to a doctor in Parramatta for 2 years.
Soon after Parramatta he worked for a Gunsmith at The Rocks.
Edward and Charlotte had 9 children ; Sarah , John ,
